Jordan Evans-Tobata ran for NZ at the Pacific Games that were held 27/11/2023 to 2/12/2023 at Solomon Islands National Stadium.
Jordan ran in the individual 400m heats, qualifying for the final where she came 5th in 57.44.
She ran a fantastic first leg of the 4 x 400m relay perfectly pacing her run to finish strongly, passing a number of runners, ultimately contributing a lot to her team winning the bronze medal in 3:57.17!
Jordan has been a member of the Caversham club since she was very young, following in the footsteps of big sister Sydney. Jordan’s two younger sisters Darcie and Elyanah are also members of the club, supported by their Mum, Carol Evans, a long time helper/organiser for Caversham children’s athletics.
