The annual Cross Recreation Centre Balclutha Half Marathon was held on Saturday 11th October. Due to various circumstances, Caversham was not represented at the signature half marathon event which also served as the Otago half marathon championships.
However, we were well represented by competitors in the 10 km run and 10 km walk. The walkers were particularly successfully where Janice Hughes won the race outright beating walkers of all ages and genders.
