Closing Day Harrier Season Saturday 5th October 2024

Saturday 5th of October was the closing day of the 2024 “Harrier” season, always sad for it to come to an end, the greatest relief on the day was that the relentless rain of the previous days had stopped, groups of runners and walkers headed out into surrounding areas, with the general topic on how everybody survived the “weather bomb”, chats continued back in the clubroom as refreshments were enjoy by all .
In closing the season Club Patron Jim Law and Club President both expressed feelings of satisfaction of a season that was challenging, each Saturday club days were well attended, along with the weekdays social runs and walks, more importantly, mass numbers of runners and walkers taking part as teams i n relay events. We now look forward to Track and field Summer social runs and walks.
